In this edition of @USFLaw, you’ll see we have much to celebrate: the graduation of the impressive Class of 2009 and their presentation of a historic class gift, an inspirational commencement address by civil rights icon and children’s rights activist Marian Wright Edelman, awards and noteworthy scholarship by professors, and extraordinary new additions to our faculty. This summer, our students and faculty are fanning out across the country and around the world as part of the law school’s robust summer courses and internship offerings. I have the pleasure of assisting students in two of these programs, in Cambodia and Vietnam, for the next two weeks. I invite you to come along for the ride via my new blog and follow me on Twitter. (Fair warning: blogs and “tweets” are new to me but it should be fun!) Enjoy your summer and join me in congratulating the Class of 2009!
